Matchday Process
Before the match
Please submit booking enquiries using the contact form or by email to info@matchdaycapture.com. We are able to record multiple matches on the same day.
We aim to arrive at the ground an hour before kick off. We need a space of approximately 3m x 3m at the halfway line in order to erect the Veo camera with it’s guy ropes for stability. Ideally we film with our back to the sun to avoid glare in the footage.
During the match
Please try to ensure there are no players, staff or spectators between the camera and the pitch to avoid obstruction. For multi-camera bookings, we place a Go-Pro behind one of the goals, and use a tripod mounted manually operated video camera to follow the action for close-up replays in the highlights. Multi-camera footage is only used for the highlights packages, not for the full match footage.
After the match
After the match, please provide complete teamsheets for both teams if you would like these to be used to generate lineup graphics on the highlights. Processing the full-match Veo footage can take up to 72 hours, although typically it is available the same day. The Veo footage is hosted by Veo and a link to the match will be provided as soon as it’s uploaded and processed. The Veo app allows broadcast or tactical view, and identifies goals and shots to allow quick access to key moments.
The highlights are typically uploaded to our Youtube channel the day after the match, although can be delayed if the Veo footage takes longer to process. By default we upload to our @MatchdayCapture Youtube channel as an easy way to make the highlights available for your whole team, but if you would prefer to share them on your own social channels, we can share as an MP4 file ready for upload.
